National Canoe Day

SKPC will be hosting a open paddling event on the evening of Wednesday June 26th in celebration of National Canoe Day!

Anyone can come hangout on the water and get a nice evening paddle in! There will be a introductory stock / marathon canoe stroke session run by Shona Barbour for paddlers looking to learn this method or practice their technique.

We will meet at the small parking lot at the end of Grace Lake on Kam Lake Road (just after the sled dog crossing) at 7pm.

We encourage people to dress up / decorate their canoes to celebrate! There will be a prize to the best decorated canoe.

Please bring your own canoe, paddles + pfds and other required safety gear if you have it. The club does have two canoes, extra life jackets and some extra paddles that will be made available.
