Kayaking in the subarctic winter? Heck, yes. SKPC club volunteers take whitewater kayaks over to the car wash for a good clean, prior to upcoming kayak sessions this winter in the pool! (stay tuned for updates soon). Definitely excited to get back out on the (chlorinated, over-priced) water.

Over the fall and summer the kayaks and paddles build up dirt and leaves as they are stored outdoors in the backyard of a generous board member. We love visiting the car wash however a priority for the club is to secure a covered, permanent storage for all of our gear. We’ll keep working on this long-term goal!
